VNVC partners to build a community health communication network on TikTok
On April 19, the Vietnam Medical Association, the Bright Future Cancer Patient Support Fund (Ministry of Health), the TikTok platform, together with the VNVC Vaccination Center System and Tam Anh General Hospital Group signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop a scientifically accurate, reliable, and easily accessible health information network for the community through short videos posted on TikTok using the hashtag #TikTokForHealth.

The Vietnam Medical Association, the Bright Future Cancer Patient Support Fund (Ministry of Health), the TikTok platform, VNVC Vaccination Center System, and Tam Anh General Hospital Group are collaborating to leverage their expertise in creating a trusted network of healthcare professionals. This initiative aims to share accurate, science-based medical knowledge through short videos on TikTok, tagged with #TikTokForHealth. The network seeks to establish a robust, diverse, and practical ecosystem of reliable healthcare content on one of today’s leading social media platforms.
The #TikTokForHealth initiative will feature contributions from leading experts, doctors, and thousands of healthcare professionals from VNVC Vaccination Centers and Tam Anh General Hospital Group. These trusted specialists, spanning fields like preventive medicine (e.g., vaccinations, nutrition, physical activity) and advanced medical treatment, will play a pivotal role in building a credible, standardized medical content network on TikTok. This effort ensures TikTok users can easily access accurate, science-backed healthcare and wellness information through this expansive digital platform.
At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Xuyen, President of the Vietnam Medical Association, stated: “We highly value the innovative spirit of pioneering healthcare organizations, particularly VNVC Vaccination Centers and Tam Anh General Hospital Group, for proactively adopting modern approaches to deliver reliable and accurate medical information while spreading positive values. With approximately 65 million users in Vietnam, TikTok holds immense potential as a vital bridge to bring medical knowledge closer to the community.”
“The Vietnam Medical Association is committed to working closely with VNVC, Tam Anh General Hospital, TikTok Vietnam, and the Bright Future Cancer Patient Support Fund to build a scientifically sound, useful, and user-friendly medical network on TikTok. We believe this collaboration is a significant step toward raising health awareness and demonstrates the power of unity, creativity, and responsibility for the community. Together, we aim to promote valuable and practical content to enhance health, improve quality of life, and protect lives,” Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Xuyen affirmed.
In 2025, VNVC Vaccination Center System and Tam Anh General Hospital Group will launch the “Mega Health Consultation” program series, focusing on key community concerns such as cancer prevention and early detection, infectious diseases, nutrition, physical activity, and vaccinations. This campaign aims to promote healthy lifestyles, raise health awareness, and share credible, science-based, and useful medical information.

VNVC and Tam Anh General Hospital Partner with TikTok to Promote Scientific Medical Content and Community Health Initiatives.
Alongside creating scientifically accurate medical content on TikTok, the VNVC Vaccination Center System and Tam Anh General Hospital will collaborate with the Vietnam Medical Association and the Bright Future Cancer Patient Support Fund to implement community-focused programs. These initiatives include free health screenings, community vaccination drives, and support for underprivileged cancer patients.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duy Anh, Director of Internal Medicine at Tam Anh General Hospital in Hanoi, shared: "With a team of over 20,000 doctors, medical staff, and hundreds of leading experts across various fields, we are committed to contributing valuable, science-based knowledge to TikTok’s user community. This is both an honor and a responsibility for our healthcare ecosystem, which has earned the trust of millions of Vietnamese families."
Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, TikTok Vietnam’s representative, stated: "Empowering Vietnamese citizens with essential life skills in an ever-changing society is a cornerstone of TikTok’s social responsibility programs. Online safety is paramount—combating scams, identifying misinformation, and discerning fake news are critical. Healthcare, in particular, requires public awareness to counter misleading information. TikTok will ensure that expert-backed medical content reaches millions of viewers through videos and livestreams."
At the event, Mr. Ngo Chi Dung, Chairman of VNVC and Tam Anh General Hospital, emphasized: "A doctor in a clinic may see 50 patients a day, but in the multimedia era, a single accurate message can benefit millions. This is especially impactful for remote communities with limited access to quality healthcare. Authoritative information networks amplify the medical field’s positive impact, enabling even those in underserved areas to apply accurate health knowledge immediately."
