Currently, VNVC has brought the quadrivalent influenza vaccine Vaxigrip Tetra (France) into use, which is the only vaccine that can prevent the four most dangerous strains of influenza nowadays: influenza A (A/H3N2, A/H1N1), influenza B (Yamagata, Victoria). This quadrivalent vaccine has been researched, produced and brought into use by Sanofi Pasteur (France) since 2016, and so far has been present in 102 countries worldwide. The vaccine provides up to 80% protection against two strains of influenza virus, influenza A (A/H3N2, A/H1N1) and influenza B (Yamagata, Victoria).
